Only 7 percent of vehicle shoppers under 30 buy trucks.
Did you really use the capability of your trucks even when you were in high school? Do you use it now?I'm 33 and have ALWAYS bought trucks. 2 Rams including the Rebel, and one F150 4x4......not uncommon down here in TEXAS!!!!
First Ram was in high school, the F150 was bought when I was 28, and now my Rebel.
My first Ram, I used EVERY capability. It was a short bed V6 bare bones truck with a stick, but I sometimes treated it like a 4x4 with a big block!!!! Remember, it was high school.Did you really use the capability of your trucks even when you were in high school? Do you use it now?
And by that I mean, do you use the full capability, or could you have gone with something less heavy duty and still been able to do everything you needed to?
Glad to hear you are making full use of it. I was just curious because I had read that young people didn't buy trucks that often, and also that people generally don't make use of the capabilities that much.My first Ram, I used EVERY capability. My F150 was my baby. I only used the 4x4 option twice, and that was to get out of some wet grass....yeah I said it. I babied it BUT I got rewarded when I traded it in $$$.
I bought the Rebel to HAVE FUN!!! Purchased in July, I've already smoked the tires and ran it through a few mud holes! I tend to use EVERY option on it, including the tow hooks!
I'm sure it's the same situation with fast cars. I HIGHLY doubt owners push their high HP motors to the limit.Glad to hear you are making full use of it. Unlike many of the SUVs out there, and even some trucks, I think that people who go with the Rebel have the intention of taking out off road.
