I assume it's mostly for security reasons and a sense of anonymity on the forum. Personal preference I guess.
Why scribble out license plate?
Why do people blackout/scribble their license plates when they post pictures of their trucks online? Just curious... I figure people see your license plates everyday on the road. Is it some kind of online security issue?
