Just bought a new '16 Rebel. Traded in my Jeep . I don't make many good moves, but this was one! Anywho, the Rebel has the Remote Keyless Entry. Does anyone know how to disarm the seatbelt alarm? I can find out how to using a key, but as I don't have one of them I'm at a loss. Still trying to figure out how to leave accessories on without a key. For an old man, all the new bells and whistles and related instructions remind me of the confusion involved in the first time I had sex.

If you press the button without holding the brake it will go into ACC mode. If it is running you can hit the button and it will stop the engine. Hit it again to turn on ACC mode.

The button toggles between the three modes if you don't hold the brake. OFF/ACC/RUN (without starting the engine).

If you want to turn off the seatbelt dinger you can, I think its covered in the user manual. If not someone on here did it. It involves some weird combination of pressing the gas pedal a few times and then cycling the ignition.

but yes you can also take your foot off the break and the ignition button will cycle through ACC and RUN modes without turning on the truck.

Couldn't find it in the manual. Anyone with any info, appreciated. Did a site search under disarm seatbelt warning and came up with nothing. Thanks

Yesir, very easy. I found it on another forum before I posted it here, it's the same on all keyless Ram trucks.
