V6's with 3.21 Rear Axle Ratio, What gives?

In my continued search for a 2016 V6 4x4 Rebel I find several builds not to far from me with everything I want except.....
Anti-Spin Differential Rear Axle

Seems a high proportion of the V6 builds are speced out by the dealers with the 3.21 Rear Axle Ratio instead.
I was trying to order but gave up after becoming extremely frustrated with the south florida dealers so waiting for one to come available the way I want it.

My last truck had locking diffs front & rear so actually feel the Anti-Spin Differential Rear Axle is a downgrade.

I am not a gear head... am I missing something regarding the 3.21 Rear Axle? Slight MPG advantage maybe but can not imagine another reason why a truck pushed as a 4x4 would be speced with 3.21 Rear Axles. Maybe I am being picky? I could be driving a Rebel right now if it was not for this one detail.
