I saw a 1500 short bed with a black tonneau cover which had a large ram's head embosses on it (couple of feet tall). Haven't been able to find any similar on line. Anyone know where they are available?

As far as I know, the large logo ones are a $500 option for the Rebel when ordered with the vehicle from factory. Some people who ordered the cover got the old ones with the small logo and some people got the one with the larger logo like the picture below. Ram has since changed the picture on their site to the top with the small logo. Not sure if there's an aftermarket option out there.

Yup, It has since been changed to a small logo cover on their site. If you want one with the large ram logo you'll need to buy it off someone or have one custom made.

That looks much better, any bigger and it would seem too in-your-face, much like the tail gate on our Rebels. Plus if there's anything to be in-your-face on the rear end, I rather have that be just the tailgate itself. Tasteful design is required.

I already mentioned that I was aggravated over not being able to find the cover I WANTED, with the LARGE Head. Don't give me your opinion on the aesthetics of my choice. If you are buying me one, by all means, get me the one you find most pleasing, otherwise I will have to track you down and slap the **** out of you.....as always, I am open to all helpful suggestions. Thanks again.

Maybe ask your dealership if they can somehow get their hands on one like asking nearby dealerships if they have one left over. That's all I got.

The plot thickens.....called 2 different dealers whose parts department researched and both said the large ram head tonneau cover was never made, is not now, nor has ever been in production. I really try to be a people person but people keep letting me down! Be assured I'm not giving up on this! As soon as I sober up I'm back on the case!

OK, to put this finally to bed, for good or for bad, after much chasing down, got someone from Chrysler to find out that the large logo tonneau does exist under part No. 68249062AB "Tonneau Cover Kit with Embossed Head" which lists through MOPAR for $1,500! WTF! I like the larger logo but not $1000 more than the small logo. That's time out of my life that I ain't gettin' back!

On the plus side it's just a one time purchase, so some people might be looking at it and not minding the higher than expected price tag.

Annnnnnnd, The plot thickens, I got this e-mail from the Chrysler Customer Assistance Group:

"Thank you for your recent inquiry to Mopar.com. The tonneau cover with
the large Ram's head and RAM embossed in the cover is only available as
a factory installed option. The tonneau covers serviced with a Ram?s
head will have the smaller version embossed. Thank you for contacting us
and giving us the opportunity to assist."

I got this after I got the part number. It should be noted that there is no photo available for the part number as listed. Unfortunately, I'm retired so I have to do all this **** on my own time. When I was working (for the Government) I would have had more than enough time to get to the bottom of this on the job. I'm gonna go get a beer and plan my next move. I may go get a "Raptor" embossed tonneau and advertise for them.
