Is there any way to get the factory GPS unit to tell me when I am approaching an intersection that is covered by "photo enforcement". My Tom Tom keeps up with all of them and lets you know. Not that I'm out there randomly breaking traffic enforcement laws, but I am concerned for others who might be....that's just the kind of guy I am. All the books and crap that I got with the new truck don't seem to cover the unit. Also it appears that I have to pay $500 to buy something which will allow me to update the maps? I am technically challenged but am about to turn off the factory screen and stick my Tom Tom to it. I have already found that the factory unit's directions are not always the most direct route but it will get you there eventually. Love the rest of the truck but this thing is beginning to really aggravate my ass.

Oh, and now that I've aggravated myself don't even get me started on the fact that I pay good taxes for Police services and the benefits, retirement packages, cars, etc. etc. when all we really need is a few $20 cameras around town to catch "criminals".
