I had my Rebel now for 2 weeks and after I washed her this past weekend I went underneath the truck to take a look at some of the components. I notice the air tanks are neatly tucked above the spare tire up high to the bottom of the bed but when looking at the compressor it was on the passenger side under the rear bumper. the only thing they have protecting is this thin cardboard like material. How do you guys feel about this. I figured they would incased the compressor in some kind of housing compartment.
Also I noticed skid plates for the front of the truck and others buy the middle of the truck but nothing protecting the gas tank. what's up with that.
