surprise phone call

After filling out a Fiat/Chrysler email survey a few weeks ago about my new purchase, I received a surprise phone call today. I raised a couple of issues in the survey and today a representative assigned a case number to me! While on the phone, he offered to call a local dealer and we conference called to setup an appointment with the body shop for next week Tuesday to try and remedy my issues. I was told a case manager would be assigned to me. Needless to say, I'm a bit impressed. :) We'll see what happens! (The issues: misaligned front bumper and a scuff or abrasion mark on my dash.)

[The rep did ask if I've had a chance to return to the dealer. I explained that I purchased it from a 150 miles away and it wasn't logistically possible. And I just haven't had time to get to a local dealer as of yet.]

Didn't think these things actually happened. :eek:
I assume most complaints are logged and that's it. Good to hear Ram is actually paying attention to their customers.
It will be interesting to see if they resolve the bumper issue at the factory. They need to know that a lot of these trucks have it. Especially now that they plan to retool and move production of the trucks for 2017, they can address it in retooling if need be.
