Given the slightly higher ride height, greater wheel travel and what other people may know about lifts/wheels on the regular Ram 1500.
What do you think, if any, direct tire size swaps could be? 35s? 37s? is this possible?

Would like to know this myself. I wouldn't mind a slightly higher riding truck. I know it has a 1 inch lift on it already but wouldn't mind another inch or 2

From what I can tell (quick measurement with a tape measure). I don't think 35/12.5/17 will fit without major rubbing because the width of the tire. I think the 285/75/17's will fit without issue. This size is about an inch taller. In theory, you would have 1/2 inch lift...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the 1inch lift is when it's on offroad 2 mode, not in normal ride height. Which is really offroad 1 mode
There's only 1 off-road mode, which adds 1" to an already 1" in normal mode, which is 1" over a stock non Rebel 1500 .

Sounds like you're on to something with that, something that warrants measurements being taken from the regular RAM to the Rebel.
