Sort of. I priced 2 dealers against each other to get the price I won't. But I live in Virginia and have to drive to Ohio to get the deal I wanted. My local dealers also would not budge on price. But I knew somebody would. Just had to find them.Did you just haggle with the salesman to get it down to $43 with no additional options?
Haven't dealt with rewards like that ever but do you know if it's limited to only participating dealers or is it all dealers? I know sometimes that 'only participating dealers' thing can be noted in fine print.Although I got a great deal, my dealer still wouldn't honor my Chrysler Affiliates Rewards.
Not all dealers have to participate, you are correct. But, my dealer DOES participate, but wouldn't on this particular vehicle because ti had just come off the truck.Haven't dealt with rewards like that ever but do you know if it's limited to only participating dealers or is it all dealers? My dealer had two, they told me the first one they sold was $4k above MSRP. I got mine $4k below MSRP. Don't know what that tells you exactly, but that's what happened.Talking to those around my town, they are not budging on price. One flat out stated they were doing msrp +5k for them. Several others said they would not discount them for me which was my major issue. I get set pricing via an employee discount and all but two dealers said they would not honor it. But I finally found two that would and so far the one I ordered from has been great, they also said right up front I get any and all discounts that will be available when my truck arrives (which is part of the set pricing) with out even prompting them. So I am looking at about the same price range/drop as these guys but I wont know exact price until it actually arrives.
All I can say is good luck but I dont think you will get much of a break unless you get really lucky.
