Anyone tried this yet? Supposed to be able to take an address from your phone and send it through UConnect to the truck Nav.

iPhone 5C. Tried today from the phone map. Address came through, Nav turned on and displayed the correct address but then it said "FAILED" where it usually says "GO" (if I had typed in the address). Would be nice to get this to work. People often text me an address or there is one in an email. I know I could use the phone navigation, but I'd certainly rather use the truck Nav since it is there and works great otherwise.

Mine is so close to working. Again I'm using an iPhone. From the map app on the phone, once I have the address, there is a button to send that address. It's a square with arrow pointing up. Press that...choices include message, mail, etc. Another choice is the Uconnet Access app. I press that while in the truck. The truck's Nav screen comes on, address shows up, but again it says "FAILED" where it usually says "GO" if I had entered the address directly on the truck.

It is that close to working perfectly! I thought maybe someone on here knew a trick.

Just tried it 3 times with an iPhone 5s. Same result as you. It would be a good tool if it worked. One thing i noticed on the app under messages, it sent the address twice each time I tried it. No idea if that played a part.

My Uconnect starter/lock also works less than half the time too. When I got the truck I deleted the old app and installed the newest version of Uconnect again on my phone. This helped a bit for about a week then back to 'remote start failed'. Logged in and out a few times with no improvement.

Surprisingly the old version has worked almost every time for the past three years except when it was locked on the music mode for about a month.

Which iPhone map app are you using?

Haven't tried it myself yet but just found this in the uconnect help section:

You can search for a POI or destination and send it to your vehicle so your navigation system can route you. (if equipped)

Notes:
Only 10 locations can be stored in your vehicle’s system at one time.
POI search is based on the center of the map. To find a POI in another location, first type the location so that the map is centered on it; then type in the POI name or category.
Also, you can search for POIs by typing "name of POI" near "name of city/name of state."
Enable Allow Access to Contacts (Settings → App Settings) to have the ability to send a contact’s address (when stored in your phone’s address book) to your vehicle.
