One thing I find strange is the $175 for the Rebel Instrument Cluster.

I thought a skid plate would be standard on the rebel and not listed as optional.

I'm also surprised by this, mostly because I am wondering what the Rebel would be outfitted with for an instrument cluster if someone does not choose this option.

The Rebel wouldn't be a rebel if someone does not "choose" this option. See you don't get a choice. Its not so much an option list but an equipment list...
