I tried searching around on the forum and I don't think anyone has installed Revel links on their rebels yet. Maybe there are reviews of it being used on other Ram trucks?
Those parts can be found in auto parts stores, or even farm equipment stores around here. Threaded rod and nuts in every big box store and most small hardware stores. Even in stainless steel, it's not tough to find. The ball sockets are only slightly harder to find. They're common sizes used in riding mowers, snow blowers, and all kinds of other equipment. Finding them in stainless is the only real challenge, and it's not insurmountable.
I actually bought all the components on eBay. It was much cheaper than buying them here in local hardware stores. If memory serves be correctly, I believe I only have around 45 bucks with everything and I even had extra threaded rod. Eventually I will make another set to lower my truck. Not that I like lowered trucks, but it would be cool to just have an extra set in my truck just in case the need/want arrises.
So where did you find the ball sockets? And was the size of the ball 5/16, 8mm ? I have a 2019 rebel with air ride and would like to build a set. Thanks for your time.
Grainger has them. Mine was 8mm and 10mm with 5mm bolt rod in-between. Think I spent $35 for the rod ends. I got the bolt rod from work but can't imagine it would be that much more
Did you end up putting these on your 19? Did they work? I am looking to do this to a 19 as well. Wanted to see how they turned out for you. This great to have the part numbers listed!
