Rebel Exclusive Instrument Gauges????

PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Rebel have it's own Gauge Design on the Instrument Cluster? This seems to be something VERY unique, but highly overlooked. We all know about the Rebel badge and digital Rebel inside the information screen, but the GAUGES seem to be all new. If so, that's just one more item that makes this truck awesome...Thoughts?

The (ORT) Rebel Cluster is an option.
I think someone mentioned that most of the first batch of Ram Rebels comes with all of the added options. The cluster was probably included but we won't know until an owner chips in here.
I am an owner who purchased the Rebel instrument cluster, but I was assuming the $150 was just the Rebel badge and Rebel name flashing across the information screen......$150 seems right for a small software upgrade, but that seems low for the ENTIRE cluster including the gauges.

Good point since clusters like that brand new could easily go for $500+

I'm sure the parts guy at a RAM dealer would be able to price out a replacement cluster, possibly providing some clarity here.
I believe it also has different font and the red rings to go with the rest of the interior
SO is the whole instrument gauge $150? That seems to be what this thread is saying at the moment.
is the cluster actually different though, or just different back lighting/font etc...
The general design seems to be the same. Besides the rebel graphic at start up and the rebel badge in the center. I will take a pic later tonight when I get home

They are different. See these comparison pictures.

Yep the rebel cluster is an option you have to choose. It's the same layout and screen as the normal large screen ones but with different cosmetics. It's more like just the top plate over the cluster is changed thats why it's cheap.
Thanks for the comparison pictures! There isn't too much of a difference so I can see why it's only $150.
From that comparison I'd find it hard to not go with the Rebel cluster, after all we're going to be spending a lot of time in the cabin, might as well spec it to complement the truck overall.
I could take or leave it. It's kind of minor but it also looks okay. $150 paid over the whole length of the loan is chump change, so why not?
I picked my Rebel today and was a little disappointed to see it had the standard gauge cluster. Not a huge issue, so I took it anyway after waiting for it to arrive for a couple of months.

So far impressed with it!

Did you order it with the optional cluster?

Technically I didn't order it. It was an early 2016 inventory order by the dealer. I tweaked some things and added what I wanted before it was built and I thought the rebel cluster would be there. I'm not even sure why that isn't a standard item when ordering a Rebel. Doesn't really make sense.

I guess I could have refused it, but it is awesome as is and I had waited long enough. I've had a great relationship with this dealer for many years and want to keep it that way.
Ram Rebel Cluster

This same thing happened to me. Just picked mine up yesterday, a 2016. I had asked for all of the other options I wanted in the truck and they were there. I had just figured it would have the Rebel cluster, since every picture I looked at showed it. I was surprised it didn't have it. I might look into replacing it if the cost isn't too great. It seems that the screen in the middle of the gauges is a bit larger and better on the Rebel cluster too.
