Did anyone order the RamBox Tonneau Cover with their Rebel? I saw it was an option and comes with the warranty from the factory. just wondering if it is a nice cover, hard folding etc...?

Any help would be appreciated. Ordering my rebel this week to replace my 2012 Sport.

It is a trifold vinyl cover but it is nice quality..
Does it seem sturdy and water resistant? I currently have a Bak Flip F1 and it looks good, but has always leaked in multiple areas.

Thanks for the help
PickUpTrucks dot com said it's sturdy:

Additionally, a new, sturdy three-section tonneau cover offered through Mopar should make hunters, campers or fisherman grateful for the extra high-mounted deck space.
It's sturdy, by not water tight. It leaks very little at either end of the bed. That said, it's not suppose to be water tight. It's just something to keep wondering eyes off your possessions and keep the sun off as well.

Had a Trifecta on my last truck, it was really nice. Got the RamBox trifold on my Rebel, its nice but much heaver then the Trifecta that was on a 6.4" bed, but not so heavy you can't lift it.
Tonneau seems to have a few covers that should be leak proof. I think the roll up ones have a tighter seal even though it's a bit more effort to roll back.

With that being said, if there are things that need to be away from water, it might help to get something to store those things in.
Either that ^ or put the things that need to stay dry closer to the middle of the bed. A5 HEMI did say it leaks a little bit but only at either end of the bed.
Or the cabin on the floor if you don't have rear passengers and if its something that won't make a mess of your interior.

It's not a total gully washer....We had rain at the house for an hour straight and there was probably about a beer can size of water TOTAL between the front and back of the bed. I'd be comfortable putting pretty much anything back there.
Can you tow a fifth wheel with the Rambox

I'm thinking of buying this truck but I would like to occasionnaly tow a light fifth Wheel. I am wondering if the sides could hit the Hitch when the truck turns. I saw that Etrailer.com has a warning about this on most of its fith-Wheel hitches, any Rambox equipped truck owner could confirm this or adversely confirm they are towing a fifth Wheel without any issues.

thanks :D
Signed for mine today

I tried to get the bed cover that is listed and shown on the build a RAM web page for a $500 option. The dealer informed me that the bed cover shown does not have the same size RAM emblem and it would cost $1300. Anyone else ask for this cover and did you have any issues?
According to the website, the tonneau cover is priced at $450 and it says it comes with an embossed ram head. It seems strange that this dealer is telling you you can't get it and trying to sell you something worth 3 times as much.
I noticed they changed the image in the configurator as well when they updated the tool. The new cover they show looks cool but the logo is indeed HUGE. I ordered my truck with the cover and got the expected price, but I have no idea if it's the new or old one. Or if there was even a change or not. They have been working on the config tool so maybe someone put on the wrong photo... Or maybe 2016's have a different one.
Check out the new config tool, the cover show. Is different than the previous one for sure.

There could be a chaneg for 2016, but my gut tells me he wanted to sell you an aftermarket cover and pocket some cash.
Yep. That's the cover on the build and price Ram Rebel page. The dealer informed me that the logo is much smaller which is Ok even though that logo looks awesome. i
I took a quick video to show the small amount of water the factory top lets in i couldnt find anything in the back end just at the tailgate. This is after a fairly standard storm was several hours.
