FCA has issued a recall for Ram trucks of the 2015 to 2016 model year. The recall affects about 67,000 2015-2016 Ram 1500 pickups built between mid-June and late September of this year.

The issue is that these vehicles may have been assembled with drive shafts that were not properly heat treated. The axles may overheat or wear quickly which could result in an ABS fault or wheel separation.

Most affected vehicles are still on dealer lots.

The fix is quite simple. The defective part must be replaced with one from a new properly treated batch.

Great, my truck was built around that time. I looked up my VIN and it said nothing but my truck is going in this weekend for checkup and see how things are so will bring it up with them. If they have to end up replacing the axel am I out of bounds for telling them to throw in the LSD while they are at it ?

You could bring it in but they likely will not do any warranty work without your vin being associated. Im not sure (I doubt) that you can see the issue at all without taking apart the axle, or even then until there are issues.
