Great visual comparison of the two of them.
Thanks for posting this.
Very similar designs in the end. Different versions of the same thing. There are certain parts of each that I prefer. I like the interior of the Rebel, and the grille. I like the head and tail lights of the Ford though.

Exactly in what ways are they similar or even the 'same thing'?
Well the grilles are quite similar with both having the brand name being scrawled across them. Same thing at the back of both vehicles. All-in-all most pickup trucks kinda look the same. There is really only so much you can do with the basic truck design. Both use matte black instead of chrome on the exterior, so there are some similar materials being used in both as well. Biggest differences to me are the head and taillights.
I see what you mean, those are indeed things to compare, but due to the types of trucks they are and what they target, it makes up the differences in their designs. Rather keep it relevant and keep it apples to apples
I think that Ram could be well served by revisiting their light designs. They could be a little more creative.

What do you mean by their "light designs"?

What they've done here is creative enough to me, seeing something different would be great, but for the most part people are happy enough with the Rebel's design.
I just had a Raptor Owner come up to me and we had a great discussion. He was really impressed with the setup of the Rebel. I jokingly said the Raptor was To much for what i wanted and his response was Thats what you want in a truck lol
Thanks for the video! I like the Ram more as the grill and hood vents make it look a bit more sleek. Also nice to have rear doors for ease of access to the passenger seats.

Actually I found it to be more in your face with its bold design, which of course is fitting for the type of truck the Rebel is spec'd up to be.
I'd like to think that removing the chrome crossbar grille that is traditional to the older ram models creates a sleek and solid front end. And the hood vents looks nice.

On the standard Ram's I wouldn't mind seeing them do that as part of a new design direction but they don't seem to be as willing to make a bold move like that just yet.
