Makes one wonder if you can mount small LED light bars there for extra lighting. Though I have no idea how you would wire it.
Wiring through the hood and following the windshield washer lines would be easy enough. Hard part would be trying to avoid lighting the hood itself up too brightly, I would think? Getting too much light on the hood where the driver can see it can screw up your night vision, making the light out front of the truck less effective. Just too much flare.Illegal but possible.
