Sweet! That's what I'd love to do as well, soon as I can get a rebel... Any plans for exhaust now?
Do you know if the manufacturer has any problems with folks using this. Like in case that you ran into engine issues, could they not say that you modified their setup and that its your responsibility not theirs?FYI, I got the 63-1561 KN intake system. The sound is awesome! I want to think I feel the difference, but heck, who knows. I'm seeing a 1mpg increase in mpg. I paid $215 after shipping for the setup. Installation was easy. It took me 2 hours including my beer consumption.
That response to exhaust is consistent with what i've been hearing a lot of people report back. Glad we got a great sounding system from the factory. No plans for exhaust right now. I'm happy with the sound. Couple other folks on this forum have upgraded their exhaust and I heard the audio clips. They all sound good to me.
KN guarantees there will be no warranty issues. I'm not concerned because my past car and the wife's current car have kn intakes. We've never had issues when warranty work is completed.
Hmmm, I haven't heard a clip of your truck yet? We're all waiting! No plans for exhaust right now. I'm happy with the sound. Couple other folks on this forum have upgraded their exhaust and I heard the audio clips. They all sound good to me.
That's a good price! Where did you get your intake from? I at least got free shipping to Alaska (they treat us like we are practically a foreign country and bend us over with overpriced shipping charges)... I'm still waiting to take delivery of my Rebel!! Should be here sometime later on this month between 11/14-11/20 is the latest ETA... I have my K&N intake and Flowmaster exhaust all ready to go at my house. Still waiting to hear a clip from your truck to help me pass the time haha!FYI, I got the 63-1561 KN intake system. The sound is awesome! I want to think I feel the difference, but heck, who knows. Also, is K/N guaranteeing that their product will not affect your vehicle warranty?

I just installed the same intake yesterday on my Rebel. Did you find it difficult to get the new supplied hose onto the stock crank case vent tube? I had a **** of a time getting it on there. Once i finally got it attached i even used a small hose clamp just to make sure it never came out. The instructions looked like it assumed my 2016 Rebel had a stock hose instead of the plastic tube. otherwise install was very easy and I also love the sound! Whether it gets me more power or MPG will be hard to tell.FYI, I got the 63-1561 KN intake system. The sound is awesome! I want to think I feel the difference, but heck, who knows. Yeah, my bad to mention this...I cut the supplied hose that connects to the crank case. If I remember correctly, it says to cut it as 'necessary'. I cut it pretty short so it would fit properly. I added an extra clamp on it for security purposes. I think that was the only and biggest hang up for me.
So are you saying it needs to be cut to fit better or you cut it too short?I just installed the same intake yesterday on my Rebel. I cut it shorter than what KN says to cut it...I cut 4 to 5 inches more than the instructions. It fits properly now.So are you saying it needs to be cut to fit better or you cut it too short?
