Hi All,

Has anyone installed a programmer in their Rebel yet? I come from a background of tuning Subaru's so I always like to see what more can be drawn out of a vehicle. I'm definitely interested in getting something for my new Rebel just have to research the options. Curious to see if there is any stand alone programmer that everyone tends to lean towards or something that is proven for the 5.7.

Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know , if using the other PCM voids your warranty ? ... I'm guessing yes ?
Yeah, if you send it in to be flashed by Diablosport, I'm sure it'll void your warranty. I think I might just bight the bullet and buy the Diablosport flashable PCM and a Trinity in order to program what I want, if I need warranty work, I would still have the ability to reinstall the factory PCM... I'm assuming anyway.

my personal thoughts are that because you're replacing the actual PCM when you install the Diablo Sport, if you were to take it out and reinstall the OEM PCM, the warranty would not be voided. Most of the time tuning involves tuning the original PCM. So, in theory it should be ok.

Did this void your warranty? I was looking into the Diablo, and new PCM, but it looks like no matter what you do it would be flag by the dealership. Even if you swap PCMs back and forth the millage would still give it away.

I swapped the PCM's and mileage stayed the same. Diablo promises that you can just pull and swap (takes about 10mins) and dealership wont know. I couldn't see how they would know if it doesn't change the mileage. Either way its one of the top mods ive done so far. I will warn you guys that if they don't flash the PCM correct then you've got to mail it back to them to setup properly. Had to do that with mine the first time. After that it was fine. Oh and the Hemi's are giving them problems if you leave the gages on with the trinity- Runs your battery completely out if you don't exit gages.

The dealership has its ways of finding out if things have been tampered with. When it comes to the PCM there will be a mileage discrepancy. Your cluster will show one mileage and your PCM will show the last mileage that it was out before it was removed. Not to mention that manufacturers put markings on nuts and bolts to show they are torqued and if they are not in the same alignment that is also a tell tale sign that it has been tampered with. Just my .02 cents.
