I like both the knob and the the tailgate. That was one of the reason why I traded up from 2013 big horn to the 2016 rebel.

I get that magazine as well. I want to know where is the article for 4x4 pick-up of the year which was the Ram rebel. Is it in that issue.

I'm not sure what they've done to the Tacoma lately but I had a 2010 for 3 years and there is no way it beats out a Ram in "ride and drive". The Rams handling at either crawling or highway speeds is so far and away better than the Taco that its almost if they have a bias against a truck that doesn't "drive like a truck." I can see the Benz and the Rover being rated better but thats kind of apples and ostriches. I like my badging too.

Interesting that in 30 years they've only given 2 awards to Ford: the 2010 Raptor and the 1986 Ranger.

Do you think they might have a bias? Ford has done some impressive things recently and i think they have been deserving of an award so far. But to some that might be different.

No idea. Seems to me either they have some bias, or Ford hasn't done much of note in 3 decades, at least in the 4x4 world. I was just noticing of the 33 years, the distribution of wins was interesting:

Jeep 13
Dodge/Ram 5
Toyota 4
Chevy 2
Nissan 2
Ford 2
Isuzu 1
Land Rover 1
Lexus 1
Suzuki 1
Volkswagen 1

Jeep is very high, as you'd expect in this kind of award.

So next month in four wheeler mag will have the rebel as the 4x4 pickup truck of the year. I was looking on their website and couldn't find out where I could buy the issue with this info in it but since you said its not out yet I guess Ill wait by the mail box.
