I have a new issue. The passenger side Rambox lock stopped locking and unlocking with the truck. That's going to have to go to the dealer when I get back in town.
New Rebel Issues
Good Day, picked up my Rebel last week and notice upon vehicle inspection that the front right bumper was approx 1/2 inch lower then the left side. Dealer indicated they will address the issue (in writing). Picked up the vehicle today and noticed the issue was not fixed. The dealer indicated they contacted RAM Canada and RAM said this was within tolerance and all Rebels were manufactured this way. Has anyone else experienced this issue, any assistance in this matter would be of great assistance

Sounds like an electrical problem if you can still lock and unlock the Rebel manually.
Day 1 of having my truck I drove it home in the rain and I noticed a one inch strip of fog on the bottom of the headlights. I didn't check to see if it was on the inside or outside. So there better not be a faulty seal!!
That's because the lights are not venting enough. The led lights don't generate enough heat to burn off the moisture. Good to know. However, today at Lowes I lowered the truck "entry/exit" and put 20 2x4's in the bed...there was a pretty large leak of (dexron, red fluid) coming from above the rear diff. I'll be taking it in on Monday. WTF

I Am getting a whistle from the windshield seems passenger side around 65 mph. Working on getting it into the dealership
Service tech did a fluid test. Said it was discolored water that was leaking out.. I'll look into this further. I don't see how water would get behind a seal but, I have 100,000 miles to figure it out ;pKeep us updated on this one.Good to know. did you get the bumper straightened, i noticed mine is crooked too. drivers side is flush, passengers side is down half inch or so.

Just found this forum today. I hate to see this truck having issues. I just traded my 2011 Big Horn For a 2016 Rebel. Mine is black on black.. Everything was awesome till I got home and found that all the badges were blacked out except for on the passenger side, the Ram 1500 and 5.7 HEMI badges were chrome...Not a big deal but now it's an eye soar on a new truck... Waiting to hear back from dealer....

Willis2000, yes I did get my bumper fixed, but it was like they did me a favour by fixing it. The other issue I have is the so called Hemi tick when the truck is idling, but I here this is common with the Hemi engine. Based on all the issues in this thread it appears FCA pushed the Rebel out to get the sales. Dollars over quality seems to be the way of today
I can't believe the Hemi Tick is still an issue. My 2011 Challenger RT ticks like crazy. Its been in the shop a few times and even the techs say my tick is louder than most. They have replaced lifters and other internal engine parts and temporarily improved it but the tick always comes back. Why do manufactures not correct things that have plagued their vehicles for years?
Same issue with my ram boxes and zipper on side of the seat separating both being covered under warranty
well, 2500 km today and something is going on with my front end... Not sure if a wheel weight broke loose. or if its something in the front end, almost felt like the mud flap was being grabbed on, but there is much to much clearance for that to be the case. not sure if its a balance issue either, as i think i heard something while crawling through a parking lot. Stuck in the sticks for now so it will be a bit before i can get it looked at, checked the lug nuts and that was not the case.

UPDATE: Rambox lids were replaced and the paint matches well. No more issues. She's looking great and purring like a kitten.One of my Rambox painted lid covers is coming apart from the plastic lid. It goes in for a warranty claim soon. The plastic bumper cover has already been replaced under warranty.....Someone in the Trim department was on crack when the built my truck.
Besides that, no issues. It's quiet as a mouse. I'd go crazy if I heard a lot of rattling like Aqualite75. That's a pet peeve of mine, also the reason I got the Ramboxes- no interior clutter!

just took it 10 kms to town today, put it in 4x4 to get off location, traction control went ape.... service trailer light on, service abs light on, traction control warning light is stuck on.. grinding and violently shaking..well, 2500 km today and something is going on with my front end... rear drivers wheel was leaking fluid, it was on the tow truck today, should find out more tomorrow hopefully.
Same problem
Mine has about 4K on it and was doing the EXACT same thing. The dealer replaced the wheel bearings and it still continued. Today they called me and said it was a Right Front Axle Bearing that is bad and to make it worse they are on back order!
