Welcome to the forums Bob. Post some pictures of your Rebel ! Do you plan on doing any modifications to it yet ?
Yeah, Jeeps are pretty lightweight and easy to bounce around. That's part of the fun. The short wheel base just adds to that. Not so great for highway driving, but a blast off road.hello from Az. new to was in the dealer back in january for a oil change on my jeep jk. and to the site, have my Rebel for 6 months, 5000 miles so far no problems at all. spotted 3 rebels in the parking lot. hour later i was driving home a red one. i have had dodge trucks before in Ny, but i moved to az 5 years ago everyone was talking jeeps. they are ok off road but suck around town or on the highways. i had a 2013 3.6 v6, after i had it lifted 3 inches and 35 inch toyo tires on it couldnt get out of its own way. 60 was about it on the highway no power at all. missed my rams i had in Ny. so im glad i go rid of that head ache and love the rebel. i go out to the trails next to the power lines , i can do 40- 50 easy, the jeep would of bounced off the road at 35. and a jeep lifter with tires get about 13 around town and maybe 16 on the road if you baby it. the rebel is so much better, i can even pass people now!!!!
Then of course its a truck with a bed and benefits from all the typical truck things we want which just about anything else can't do, even a Jeep truck conversion. Although to the typical city slicker it will.Congrats on the new Rebel. While the Rebel may not be able to go everywhere a jeep can, it is more versatile and stable on the highway.
