The truck sounds amazing!! It does have drone as you can imagine throughout the rpm range compared to stock. I dont think it is enough to make me not like it but what I will be paying closer attention to is the power. I am thinking I may have lost some lower end power. I will be tuning with Diablo so maybe that will make things right. I will also post videos tomorrow. I want to get a good cold start with the warm start up I already have. The total cost was $140. I can basically just put the stock muffler back on easy enough when I need a sticker. I am going in for my first oil change on Friday I guess we will see if the dealership has something to say about it. Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks

That price isn't bad at all. What size piping did you replace with ? But oh man I can't wait for that video ! Also it would be really cool to see comparison dyno charts before and after the Diablo tuning

The delete sounds great and for only $130. If you plan to do a custom muffler setup, would your warranty be voided because of it?
Doing something like a muffler delete strictly, I don't see how it would considering it wouldn't affect the performance of the vehicle. The only time I can see something like custom exhaust work messing up you're warranty is if you run a full header-back system, and that's a very slight chance. To my understanding, they can only deny warranty work if the problem at hand is directly because of the aftermarket modification you made.

Hi All,

I posted the cold start video on Youtube. Look for Ram Rebel Cold start.

Thanks- After a few days of driving I still feel as though I have lost a bit of power down low but potentially picked some up higher in the rpm curve. No dyno numbers to prove but I have to say I love the sound of it and go used to the minimal drone you hear.

Thanks

No problemo, She sounds darn mean though. I can only imagine what it sounds like under load high up the rpm range !

But oh nice, you'll definitely get this beast moving quite a bit then !

It sounds amazing. If the tuner can get my power back I will keep it for sure, if not I will put a muffler back on.

Thanks

Bingo!! Thanks.

Got a price of 850 today to do the Diablo tuning, with the ecu swap.
That's a good price to me, good for the power increase we'll be getting. But at this point I don't think i'd even look at price, just straight up results since for the most part pricing can't get that bad.

Have you installed the Diablo Tuner yet?

With the Diablo tuning, it's expected like 15hp and 20ft of torque or something ? But thats with an oft tune. I'm sure a custom tune from a tuner directly could squeeze out a bit more
