Averaging around 16-17

I had a 2012 RAM prior to my 2016 Rebel, and saw a large downturn in the fuel economy, went from around 18 to 15-16, it was winter when I traded. The truck tends to get a bit better mileage in the summer, but the biggest difference is because of the gear ratio. My 2012 had a 3.21 and the Rebel has the 3.92. You get a lot more torque but you pay the price with the fuel economy. I don't believe the Rebel comes in anything but the 3.92, so pretty much everyone is in the same boat. Best I've gotten from the Rebel was around 18.5 on a long trip with a lot of hills. Best I had on my 2012 was around 22 on a long trip. No one buys a full size truck for the fuel economy, but the Rebel has a lot to be desired with the fuel economy.

Just joined the forum and bought a 2017 yesterday. Wondering if Pedal Commander is worth a try to improve FUEL ECONOMY. Anybody have experience with this device?
