MPG concern

So fellas I have the v6 motor and drive it in around town in Irvine, CA doing mostly city driving - stop and go. Got 2,500 miles on my truck and getting only 12 to 14 mgp on a good week. Kinda upset with the results.

I was averaging 15.7 my first 3k miles. I'm now averaging 17.8. Went up a bit. I live on the edge of a small town, some town and some country driving.

I did a road trip this week. Got 21mpg on country roads with semi-frequent stops and avg speed limits of 45.
