I've started having a problem while unhooking my trailer the truck will raise up to the point that is higher than how far my trailer jack can go. Then if I try to lower the suspension but it wants me to drive around the block before it will go down.

Anyone having this issue?

It seems to be worse if I leave it hooked up overnight.

Not to that extreme, but mine has always been a similar pain in the #$%. I'm on my second tongue jack now (finally a power jack), and what seems to work best for me is keeping a light coat of grease on the ball, then dropping into Entry/Exit when I'm ready to unhitch. I then turn on Tire Jack mode and keeping the truck running. Then I stand on the hitch and bounce up and down when it's ready to pop off.

Once it's off, I pull forward, turn Tire Jack off, and then put it back to Normal. It's a pain, but at least with the power jack I'm not a sweaty mess right away.

I've heard some that lower the jack, and then drop the truck into Entry/Exit and it pops out. I've never tried this, though. For some reason, that scares me.
