Just thought I would share my thoughts after a test drive

1 this is the truck in going to buy. Just started the dealer haggling.
But the cell phone holder works great in it. I have a nexus 5. The seat backs are darker than the pictures make them seem. Along with the red accents. I think the red rebel should have been a little darker to match. I'm probly going white for that reason. The truck rides so nice. The remote start and entry/exit mode are a really nice feature. And I believe it stays lowered while its parked. The truck stayed in that mode for the entire hour I was there. And the "mustache" grill didn't seem as pronounced in person. Now starts what I enjoy. The month or two long back and forth with the dealer over price. I like making them work for sale. He did try selling me the truck at full retail. Which I wasn't having.

Sweet! DId it feel at all different then the 'other' rams?
I agree with the interior Red its No where near as annoying / Bright as i expected it to be. i am actually really happy with it!

The ride felt just as smooth as any other air ride ram I've driven. Felt amazing especially compared to my 2001 ram 1500
Great feedback from seeing it in person. I think through some reviews the same was said about the grille. Overall I think RAM did well with creating a new bold look all while not doing too much and going over board and much better than this attempt:

Maybe a stupid question, but could you feel the extra inch of ride height?
I bet when it comes to how you observe things on the road in doing that, it will be one of the ways the extra travel height will be picked up.

Yeah I also agree the rebel looks better than the limited. But as far as the limited goes. The heavy duties look significantly better than the 1500.

I couldn't feel the extra height but my wife appreciated the entry exit mode. And she thought the truck felt tall. But then again she drives a corolla and I drive the "off road" edition ram 1500 from 2001.

What i'm thinking of suggesting or even doing myself if I happen to get one of them some day is to black out the 2 bars on each side that they added... which might help it in looking better.
