I installed new Mopar sidesteps on my new Rebel. The install was pretty smooth, but I couldn't get the bracket covers on! I like the look and it makes getting in and out much easier.

Look up my channel on you tube (same name as my handle here) for videos on the side steps. No drilling, no removing bolts and I did it by myself (took about 1/2 a day as I took my time). As I commented here (and in the videos) I could not get the bracket covers on, but you really don't need them IMO. Once you get everything out and digested, the process is pretty simple.I have been going back and forth about putting the same sidesteps on my truck. Did you have to do any new drilling? Or removing bolts? How was the process and did you do by yourself?
I agree. It's much more satisfying when you can do the job yourself. things like this are pretty simple since they are basically bolts ons!Looks good, nice work. More folks oughtta try DIY.
will do, someone has them already on ramrebel.orgI like those Joe. Post up a review and pics of install once you get them.
