Hey Guys.

Between the many forums and some of the posts being old can we get a list of the led's you are using for your interior and exterior. Everyone seems to be all over the place and some posts fairly old. I really want to replace the Interior/Cargo/Reverse. Thanks everyone.

I went with The Auto LED package. These are great lights that are shipped from Canada. You can contact them via their FaceBook page at www.facebook.com/TheAutoLED

The whole interior and exterior kit was $166 shipped. Here is the conversation I had with them just a couple of weeks ago:

"Thanks for the message!! We can definitely get you set up with all the lighting you need for your 2015 Rebel. For the Rebel we have the complete interior LG canbus kit which is $50us and includes 2x map lights, 2x floor lights, and 1x dome light. The interior kit is also made to work on these rams with the interior light monitoring, as you may know these rams will cut the internal power supply if the current is too low on the inside circuit. These allow for proper function and extremely bright.
For the reverse we have our Samsung canbus high power reverse kit which is $48 and is direct plug n play @ over 800lm per bulb. For the cargo lights we have our same series Samsung canbus bulbs which are also extremely bright and direct plug n play @ over 750lm per bulb ($30/set). We have our Samsung third brake light as well which can be changed at the same time if you like, this is also the same Samsung canbus series just red and very bright ($18/pc). For the plate lights we have our LG style bulbs which are best suited for the plate lights and provide a very crisp white light ($20/set)."

I will say that all of their bulbs are CANBUS bulbs and work as described above. Occasionally I do have the "License Plate Bulb Out" message but it is very rare and it is usually only when the lights are not turned on.

I hope this information helps.

To piggy back this, 2017 rebel here and I installed LED's in the 2 map lights in overhead console and the white plastic part that turns light on/off when you press the clear cover came loose and is up inside console. Anyone know how to safely remove this console so I can get to part and fix? Video would help. Thank you

been there done that

just search you tube for:

"2017 ram 1500 overhead console removal" .. you will see a video of a technician explaining a flickering led light

I would post link, but I dont have enough posts

I did same thing just a week ago. This video is spot on for our trucks as well. I had to really put some ass on it while pulling down on plastic console. I was afraid of breaking-It wont. I used Two wooden paint stirrers you get from home depot and inserted them parallel along the sides running from to back to help distribute the downward pressure on the plastic more evenly and save my fingers. Mine was tight as a crab's ass. Just keep wiggling, rocking and pulling down. Once down it is a simple design and simple fix- jut look at the other side for reference . I didn't disconnect any wire connections.
