Hey Everyone!

Just bought my 2016 4WD Ram Rebel this week... and found this forum soon after.

This is my first pickup, and I'm still getting used the size. And even though I had a 2011 Durango before this, a full-size pickup feels huge. But I love it... and I feel like a badass in this thing.

Everywhere I go so far, people keep checking out my Rebel.

Welcome to the forum! Congratulations on your purchase. You will love driving trucks!

I am originally from NYC/NJ area. Lived there my entire 35 years and recently moved to SoCal. Where about in NJ are you? I lived mostly in Northern NJ after I moved out of NYC. I lived in Jersey City then Little Falls and finally Ringwood before I moved out from the East Coast for good. Your truck will come in very handy during with the constant inclement weather.

Love the truck! That's the color I wanted but they didn't have it when I was ready to buy. Do you see a lot of Rebels in the New Jersey area? I am from New York and I showed my cousins my truck and they seem to have never seen one.

Thanks guys!

I'm in the Edison area. Been here my whole life.

Finding Rebels in general hasn't been too hard. It seems like most dealerships have like one. But they're always white or red. My truck was the first black one I saw pop up on a dealers inventory since I started looking at the beginning of the year. And for me... there was no other option.

It seems like the dealerships cant really hold on to the Rebels for long. As soon as they get them in, they're pretty much sold within a week. Which is probably why I only got 5K off MSRP, instead of what I've heard others report.

Congrats. I came from a Durango, too. You'll soon get used to the size. Got mine about 9 months ago and I still feel like a badass, so get used to that, too :)

The marketing goes deep, reason why they have so many red or black is the same reason they have had those two colors in promos, but with red being the most common.

I also have a feeling it might be them trying to tell us what we should have, in order to help them build their identity, red probably does it best.

Congrats on the new Rebel. Odd that you had trouble finding a black one, I thought the Black and Red Ram Rebels were the more popular colors.
