What kit did you use? You need a kit that will work for the canbus system ram uses.
wondering if i have to wire in a resistor?

Post a pic when you're done! I bet LED heads would make it look sharp and complete.
2015 rams supposedly have a very picky light out system. Not only does it cut off lights after X amount of minutes, it is also very hard to figure out. Most regular resistors won't work. You need a combination of multiple resistors as well as capacitors to get it working from what i've read.
I just installed the OPT7 Fluxbeam X LED bulbs. They have been talking about them in the RAMREBEL.ORG forum with members having good experience. These bulbs have three different setup options to accommodate various vehicles. For Chrysler vehicles they recommend you configure them with their LED driver and a TIPM Resistor which the kit provides. During my installation I found accidentally (not following the instructions) that the TIPM resistor was not needed, though they for some reason recommend it. Others that have installed these bulbs have also not used the resistor. One issue that could come up with these bulbs deals with longevity. They have a large heat sink and the dust cover just barely fits over the bulb. It is a super tight fit, but it does fit. The instructions recommend that holes be drilled in the dust cover to allow ventilation, but I'd think that I'd get moisture in the housing so I didn't drill any holes. From what I have read from others they had not drilled any holes either.

The bulbs look great and match the fogs perfectly. High beams will stand out as they are yellow in comparison but nobody should ever see them.

So far I have no flicker of the bulbs and no interference on any components in my Rebel.
