Hard wire Radar

Can anyone point me in the direction of a wiring diagram for the rear view mirror for the 16 Rebel? Going to be hard wiring my radar detector and i can't seem to find the info anywhere.

I don't think there is one on the forum, at least I haven't come across one yet. Is there somewhere else you can hard wire it to besides the rear view mirror?

I am sure there are other places but this is the ideal location . Its right where i want the detector to sit and i do not have to tear apart a bunch of stuff to run the wire. :D I have found in other places colors of wires that were on prior years. Just have to figure out now if the 2016 wires are colored the same.

i actually have my radar and dashcam hard wired to the pins behind my mirror. i just cant remember which hah. but i remember it was the exact same as the wk2 jeeps and the wd durangos i believe. i went with the same pins i used on my 2014 durango

I just bought a hardwire smartcord for my passport radar im also trying to find the ideal area to install.

I took my rebel in today to get the windows tinted and the place also does car audio. They did it for 65 bucks. instead of tapping at the mirror they ran it down the driver pillar to the ignition and tapped in there. I had them put the button to silence/mark locations on the center console. Nice and clean looking.

tempting to take it in. I know there are a few places in town that specialize in car audio and installations. Would probably be around the same cost im sure. If i cant figure it out on my own without ripping parts to pieces on a brand new vehicle i will take it in

So I have mine hardwired into the mirror with one of those super suction cups on the side. Black wire and the redish pink stripped wire are the ones. I used a blendmount connection.
