I have been toying with some different ideas regarding modding the front end of my Rebel. I did a couple quick photoshop renderings of my truck and want to know what people think of them. Bear in mind i'm not great with photoshop so they may look a little shotty but you'll get the idea.

Yea I think that the center piece of the grille needs to stay, but it looks great painted all in black.

My Powdercoater went back to Africa, literally! He's on a hunt outside Zimbabwe, but as soon as his plane lands @ Metro, I'll have my grill & front skid plate/bumper sitting @ his door.

Joys of plasti dip if you dont like it you can start over But i do like the RAM logo blacked out need to do the skid next but to much rain...

Your signature picture made it easier for me to compare the ram logo.
I actually prefer it as is but it does look a bit more uniform in black. Not a fan of the skid plate color either so I can't wait to see yours blacked out.

i was thinking of possibly removing the RAM logo part and putting a light bar there. It looks like it is easy to remove from the pics i've seen.

I would be very interested to see that done or at least rendered. The light bar may look good there without the RAM or under it more on the lower bumper.

I find the chrome RAM an odd choice from a design standpoint, considering everything else on the truck is blacked out. I'll probably be changing it sooner than later. Just have to find a method that will last and look good.

Pulled the trigger on blacking out my RAM on the grille this morning. .. it looks amazing. Seriously considering the skid plate as well. I'll see if the emblem will be enough black for now, but I think eventually I'll be blacking out the plate too... just makes sense the way everything else is black.

Couldn't be more happy with the results. I used a high performance flat black wheel coating, matched perfectly and will take pics when the sun comes out.

I noticed in the SEMA show video posted by TheGreatRam today that Ram blacked out the grill logo. You get a great view of it starting at about 1:20 into the video.

Now I have a better idea of what I want.

Initially I was thinking to remove the RAM emblem and now after seeing the RAM emblem blacked out.

I think I'll do that instead. I feel like without the emblem, it's a large area to cover the grille, it's a incomplete look... lol

Heres is mine..dont be scared just do it ! Hated the silver.. Didnt match the blacked out. The rims should be blacked out too..Not sure where Mopar was going with silver accents..
