I was planning on ordering a rebel. But after seeing them at dealers I decided to just buy a 15. Going to put a deposit down Monday and pick it up in a couple weeks. (Im buying from a dealer 6 hours away) no local dealer would budge on price. And money talks
Fun with ordering! (not so much)
Well I went and tried to order my Rebel yesterday, but refused to pay the just because dealer mark up game. They wouldn't honor the correct price so I walked out. (i hate car dealerships!) I contacted other dealers in the area and two of them at least came out and said the also would not honor the price, but at least they were up front about it. Another said they would be happy to place my order! GREAT!
I went in a talked to them and it turns out that Rebel ordering is suspended/disabled now. They said that no one could order a Rebel until the tool unlocks. They can make the build sheet and provide the info but unless the order is placed its really worthless as any of the options or prices could be changed before it unlocks again. From what they said people who think they have an order placed and have a build sheet (invoice sheet) really cant yet, so the dealership is just taking/holding onto the deposit until they can place the order. Guess I have to wait a little bit longer for them to call me when the orders open =(
At least they were up front about it and wouldn't take my deposit until the ordering opens. I will give them that. Really wish we could just order from Ram and say deliver it to this dealership.
On the plus side most of the dealerships in the area are getting or have received their 2015 Rebels and have/had them on the lots. Hopefully we can start seeing them in the wild now.

Well i got contacted by another dealer and they said they are ready and able to order so im going to talk to them tomorrow. Hopefully it all works out and my order will be done tomorrow morning. Don't know what to say about it, they said they have no idea why the other dealer said they could not order now.
Luckily we have 7+ dealers in the area. Hate it when they play Fucking games.

Red/black. 8.4 an, bed cover, 9 speaker sound system. Bed liner, remote start, luxury package, protection group. Rear camera. Rear window defroster. Really wanted ram boxes at first but decided a bed cover and locking tailgate give me pretty close to want I wanted plus keep the bed space.what did you end up getting?I was planning on ordering a rebel. well i went to the other dealer this morning and they had me in, ordered and out the door in under 20 minutes. went over the details and said all the right things without me even asking. thats how it should be. black rebel is on its way to me as soon as production starts up again! cant wait.
