I did this. I've done it to every one of my trucks and SUVs over the last 37 years, since my initial enlistment. I stopped by the local USMC recruiting office and showed them my truck and told them what was missing. They smiled, and a Corporal walked into the office and returned with this. He didn't want to put it on himself, but I made sure he saw me do it.
