So I have a procharger setup order for my 2016.
The installation 'seems' straighforward enough in terms of moving over flow tank, pulling grill, mounting intercooler, running plumbing etc....what has be worried though is the PCM 'unlock'.

As I understand it they essentially send you a new one, and you have remove the old one. Then it is just a matter of plugging your programmer in and downloading tunes. However...WHERE is the PCM and what is involved with accessing its location? I can't seem to find too many details on this.

Ohh and a quick follow-up....I am still on the fence about programmer to use. I have a local shop who wants me to buy their SCT and have me datalog and send them info and they will build 'custom' tunes....versus simply using the programmer and tunes that come from Procharger. I am looking for simple, set it up, DL a 'safe' tune and drive it for 100k miles. Not planning on tinkering, tweaking, or trying to max HP....just running 7 PSI which should be okay on stock internals and enjoying the truck. Only other performance mod is I am putting cat back exhaust on it.

Yup. You can either send yours in to be unlocked or buy one already unlocked. I bought an inTune Diablosport tuner with a PCM from hemifever.. he provided me some improved canned tunes and will do some minor tweaking for you.. for something like a supercharger, I would make sure you get a proper dyno tune by someone who knows what they are doing...
