They won't put them in a Rebel because it would exceed the GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) of a 1500 series truck.

And they hasn't been any issues with emissions on RAM diesels.

AH is that what's holding them back for real... do you know by how much it exceeds?

Not sure by how much but I can tell you that when ordering a 1500 diesel that their are restrictions on things like air suspension, rambox, and sunroof in the combination with the diesel as they go over weight for a 1500

So if it goes over that rating would it just have to change classification? is there any consequences to that other than the label?

it would become a 2500 then
