after test driving one with the rear slider open, there is no need, it sucks TONS of air into the cab. I opted not to get the sun roof.
That is a very good point. I think this will be dependent on what kind of rails you get but just to err on the side of caution, maybe a sun roof isn't the best choice.Would the sun roof also stop you from being able to affix roof rails?
who uses roof rails on a pickup? chuck it in the bed mateyWould the sun roof also stop you from being able to affix roof rails?
Which is what most folks do, seeing a RAM with a roof rail system is very uncommon, can't even recall when I seen one in person.who uses roof rails on a pickup? chuck it in the bed mateyRegardless, no it shouldn't...
P.S Second for the rear window, best thing in the league. I special ordered my ranger a few years back because i couldn't find on e on the lot with it!!
Point taken. It's not unheard of however. Some things that you have to transport might be too long. Kayaks or something like that.Which is what most folks do, seeing a RAM with a roof rail system is very uncommon, can't even recall when I seen one in person.
There are various systems to mounting them, some that mount it over the bed, which i would prefer since you can still use the bed.You can kind of angle Kayaks and strap them down can't you?
