Wanted to introduce and review my Rebel which I picked up off the lot on 8/27/15, was a 2015 build loaded with every option except the keyless entry and start (which I would like but did not want to wait for an order) I put the first 1,000 miles on in the first week of ownership, currently traveling for the fall and she is sitting at 2,200 miles.
This truck as of now is a stepping stone for me, as I really want the 2017 Raptor but wanted a truck now that was comparable as I am not a fan of the old style Raptor's but we will see if that changes next year when they are released. The biggest selling factor on this truck was the interior as it is critical for me to be modern with excellent contrasts (Black/Black/Red was a huge selling point) I despise the two tone interiors of most cars today with cream pillars and headliners. Was also very impressed with the aggressive exterior styling and rugged bumpers and appearance. As far as the motor, its a 5.7 Hemi, which has never impressed me to be honest but its a truck and has a very well rated power/torque.
A few minor issues associated with the truck which are being taken care of, the sport hood insert was loose, minor paint blemishes on the tailgate, and inside the door jams and the cargo box covers under the rear set elastic secure straps one was ripped out (had to order the entire cover which is on backorder) Dealer made good on all issues, but did get a bit of over spray on the entire vehicle when they did the paint work but my detail guy took care of it for me.
