Hi ladies and gentleman,
Few question I have after a week of owning this great truck. First question is the air suspension. If the air ride failed how would the truck look. would the truck be sitting on the floor or because of the bilstien shocks would it be some what supported. Second question is, does anyone have a direct number they used to get in touch with FCA due to the head light not being black.

Regarding the Air Ride, since the bags are supplemented by the Bilstein shocks, it wouldn't be a total loss. I think you'll just notice and uneven stance.

Some will argue, but they are all going to be chrome. The black was only on early production models. They switched to chrome at some point. Possible due to the shortage of black ones. I will be absolutely shocked to see any late build 15s or any 16s that come through with black lights.

The manufacturer date on my door jam says June 2015 and I have black lights. Guess I'm one of the luck ones.

I did entensive research on this topic. Mine was produced on July 29
Somehow "room raider" is getting his replaced on his 16. I was told that it's not possible because the trucks are now suppose to have chrome bezzels. Somehow he lucked out

Look at the mdh number in your door jam. It stands for month day hour. Mines 072914 which is July 29 at 2pm. If I was lied to, I'm going to be very upset.

Mine is 061616 ... so June 16 at 4pm. And mine has the black headlights.

So sometime between June 16 and July 29 was the change over. I'm interested in seeing more MDH numbers in order to zero in on the switch over date

July build here… Black headlights with the "imperfections" in the black around the projector - like many other users have.

Look close, you'll see what I mean.

What's the MDH number. It's located on the sticker in you door jam. That'll tell us the day it was built. Most likely it was early july
