I like the silver contrast on the white... but i also like the blacked out look on the red... Hrmm its a good thing dip is cheap and easy to swap

I just tried to find the product number from the dealership site I got it from, but it's no longer listed. Up close the stripes have a carbon fiber look and aren't has matte black as my bumper, they are a bit glossy.

I think your truck would look awesome if you did the RAM logo in red to match the Rams head on the plate!

There are more colors than black.

I like what you've done. The red looks great. As I said before, I think that the contrast is important.

I'm not a fan of racing stripes generally, but I like them on yours.

Racing stripes look nice if they are well done and thick enough. Can't stand the pencil thin stripes

New to THIS forum, but I thought I would throw my front end on here... I don't have any better pics, but I figured this might show another perspective on what to do with the skid plate.

I personally like the black out look. My truck is black to start with so to black out more things adds to the look in my opinion.
I haven't done the skid plate yet but I did do the RAM logo in the grill.
Seriously thinking about doing the skid plate as well.

Plasti dip? If you're already using it, may as well spray the skid plate and see how you like it. If you don't, its just a matter of puling the plastic part off.

Generally I think it is odd to have the skid plate as the only white thing on the truck, but considering the storm trooper plate, it makes sense and i can get behind it.

Thanks for all the opinions. I ended up removing the plasti dip from the skid plate. Gotta love how easy it is to peel that stuff off lol.

When you plasti-dip painted the skid, did you do with skid plate left on truck?
I am thinking of doing mine in a color close to the grey in the dash, and was hoping to do without removing from truck.

I just plasti dipped my skid plate matte black, looks good IMO, my Rebel is red, I'll be plasti dipping the RAM in red

Just chiming in but I definitely like it with the skid plate exposed but everything else black. It ties in the hood properly, looks like a smoother transition

I will do the same and make the letters white and skid Black.

Thanks. Go for it. Probably the cheapest mod (the price of a can or two of Plastidip) you can do that can make a big difference in the appearance.

Now that's probably the best looking Rebel front end i've seen, simple is always the answer. Although I wouldn't mind some bars and aggressive rubbers to finish off the look
