Just thought you guys might want to see the new MX4 on the Rebel. I love it, easy install and looks great. Plus the new tailgate seal is awesome, you can close with the top down.

Looks great on your Rebel! Heard that the MX4 was super watertight. Have you seen any leaks?

No problems so far, it leaked a little bit after pressure washing the truck, but I expected it and it wasn't much. Parked in the rain its completely dry.
Looks awesome! Can you post a pic with it open please?

Just installed mine this weekend here in Seattle. After a 30 min drive in the rain I did see some water running down the sides towards the front, but the bed stayed dry. It was raining hard, I'll let the seals set to see again.

Easy install, looks great and full bed access.
Is there a kind of sealant or tape you can use to seal off any leaks?

Full carpeted bed ?! Question of course, why is that ?? Just curious is all 0:)

Good question. I have to move fragile electronics and furniture often, and this makes things much easier. I usually don't have to pad anything or tie it down. Carpet works great for keeping things from sliding around. Plus as a bonus it is much more comfortable crawling around digging through my camping equipment.

On the other hand I do realize how it probably seems ridiculous to most truck owners. I guess it depends on what you haul around.

As far as sealing, I suppose you could add gaskets or something similar, but I'm not sure if it would help or hurt. The cover has rubber seals all around, and slight positioning changes might help with water tight sealing. I haven't had an issue yet, but it isn't completely waterproof.

I just got my mx4 installed today and notice tonight I could see daylight at the back. Do you find this as well?

Good Catch Curho, I have the bakflip fibermax on my Rebel w/rambox option and this is the only place I saw that leaked water after a hard rain. I was going to get some weather stripping and apply it in this area to seal it up.

The MX4 is an awesome cover. I appreciate the shutting of the tailgate without opening the cover which is not possible on the fibermax.
I've had my MX4 installed on my Rebel w/ rambox for about 2 months now. It has been nice to have. Finally got around to making a few adjustments to fine tune the fit. it is much more secure now than previously.
to the guys that have the MX4 installed. What are the good and bad? I have narrowed my search down to the MX4 or the revolver x2 but leaning more towards the MX4. Would love to hear your input after some use. Ease of folding/unfolding, etc.
