I have the auto dimming mirror function but only dims the drivers side mirror and the rear view mirror, the passenger side mirror doesn't dim. I asked the dealership about it and they said that's the way it's suppose to be. Does anyone else have this? Doesn't seem right to me. I had a grand Cherokee years ago with the same thing and all the mirrors dimmed.

It's only the driver and rear. I've never had too big a glare from the passenger side so I don't have a problem with it.

passenger on the rebel does not dim. its stated somewhere in the information for the dimming mirror package.

Only found a short description of it under the heading "Driver’s Outside Automatic Dimming Mirror — If Equipped" in the owner's manual.

Guess that means it's on the driver side only.
