Applying Badging

What does everyone use for applying badging on the truck? I removed my Hemi badges to put on the fender flares and I want to reapply them somewhere else now. I found this 3M double sided adhesive tape but was a little worried to use it since it does say permanent.

Thanks, didn't see this kind there, maybe its in the automotive section though. Will go back tomorrow to have another look.
Looks kind of thick though ? Does it stick out a noticeable amount ?
The 3M molding tape should be fine or you can go to auto stores and pick up something specifically for emblems. Adhesives can be a pain with side oozing and I've once read that someone's paint was dissolved by some 3M glue.

I think this is the 3M tape site: Products:*Exterior Attachment Tapes

Never knew they had such thin tapes :|

Seen a 0.38mm, that's very helpful !
Is that actually the same company as the tape psoted by Nightshade? @ballenbc did you end up getting that tape for the emblem?

Not yet, have not had time to go look for it. Just noticed this morning that my truck got hit, dented rear panel and taillight. Nice. Kind of putting other stuff on hold for now, cant believe I got hit this soon. Getting a quote for repair, repaint on the rear panel and new taillight.
Off work next week so I should get around to finding the adhesive and testing it out then though, will let you know how it works.
Sorry to hear that and hope everything goes smoothly for you.
It sucks having that happen to a new vehicle especially if you had plans on keeping it for many years and not just for 3-4. Looking at the damage how much do you think it might cost?
Got an estimate for $1500 CAN. I am filing an insurance claim as a hit and run. Will cost me $750. I wanted to cry when I saw it, deep gouge in the rear corner. I would have been mad even if it was my previous truck as it was perfect after 7 years ( wife hit it twice for me, fixed it both times). Was not a good day, got another $8K in unexpected bills the same day, but this one gets priority.
Really sorry to hear that man.. It feels like someone completely violated you when something like that happens :(
