35x17 Toyo MT's on a new Rebel from trade-in

I saw the post about someone getting 35" Toyos on their Rebel. That's encouraging but I have a more specific question. I have a leveled 2004 SLT Quad Cab that I have practically new 35x17 Toyo MT's installed on with aftermarket MotoMetal wheels that have about the same backspacing as the factory 20" wheels had. I have had to do no cutting, trimming, adjusting of any kind to run these tires - just installed a Rough Country leveling kit with new shocks and it all works fine. I am thinking about trading my 04 on a new Rebel but would like to make part of the deal that the dealer swap the tires (not the wheels, just the tires) on the trucks before taking delivery. Should the dealer be willing and able to do the types of mods, to the Air Ride or whatever, that would be needed to make this work? Or, am I likely going to hear - we can't make those changes here as it would void your warranty, but what you do with the truck after you buy it is up to you? Thoughts?

The mod to the air suspension you are referring to will NOT be done by the dealer. You shouldn't have any issue with them just swapping the tires though.
I saw the thread but didn't read it. I'm not looking for "bigger tires that will fit". I'm wanting the specific tires that I already own to fit, if possible. And I'm sure I could get a dealer to swap tires for me if that stands between me buying a new truck or not - but will they fit is the question. Based on that other thread, it sounds to me like they could work but not without some sort of modification to the air ride system.
Well, I guess I can't help you then. Those tires are the same size tires that you're hoping to swap, and they're on the stock Rebel rims. There shouldn't be more than 1/8" difference from the Toyo's you are wanting to swap.
I would start with using the MTs as a negotiating term, just say you want x amount more off the rebel because of the tires. Then take that money you saved and by new MTs or something better.

Okay I guess I assumed, based on the other thread I saw, that some modification would have to be made. Maybe not? I'm not totally up on how the Air Ride functions. I have researched it a bit with respect to the EcoDiesels, where it can be adjusted up a couple of notches but at highway speeds it lowers itself to increase efficiency. Is it different on the Rebels? I see references to "normal mode". Can it be put in a specific mode and it stay there? My concern would be that it would adjust itself at some point such that the tires would get in the way and the only way to handle that is to have it modded.
