2016 uconnect
Does anybody know if you can upgrade the uconnect in my 2015 to the 2016 edition? You can move the icons in the 2016 and that really interests me.

When I enter my VIN it still shows the version that's older than what shipped on the truck.Yes, go to Uconnect site, download & install the latest Uconnect firmware update.
Uconnect slow to update the server.
I think I remember seeing someone report that going in to the dealer in a situation like this is best, probably what you should do.
According to FCA, the hardware is different and isn't upgradeable via software.

Making it upgradeable via software was probably a better move for them to make for the ease of upgrading. I wonder what valid reasons they have for now allowing that to happen... any idea?
I wish I knew. Nothing on that list really seems like it needs hardware to do.
