2016 Order/Incentives

I have my order on paper for the 2016, they are allowing me to get the rambox and the sunroof, so I am not sure if that just changed. But I am waiting for the incentives for the 2016. Does anyone have an idea when they will release the incentives for the new model?

Also, I have a 2012 Sport, which I am still waiting to hear how much they will buy it back for with the recall, it may be more than the trade in offer they are trying to get me to budge on.

Thank you

I think that incentives depend on the area you are in. I also think that often times you just have to negotiate the price down, its not really advertised, at least not across all dealerships. FCA is known to give out incentives pretty often though, so I would expect to not have to pay MSRP.
The incentives are month to month (and some are regional but usually just a different code for each region with the same offer) so unless you work for that part of FCA you wont know what they are until they are announced. Sept should be coming out very soon and after that oct. You get the incentives when you take delivery as that is when the purchase happens so you may not get the current ones if you have to have a 16 built (thats what I did). Also they publish them all on their website, its not a secret at all.

have you considered privately listing your old truck? Might be more lucrative that way...
What kind of incentives are you hoping for? You may be able to haggle with the Rebel dealership.
The current Rebel had an incentive of $4000, that isn't offered on the 2016. I am already getting the Friends and Family deal on the new Rebel, which is nice, but I would like a little more. I am considering selling my truck privately, but I don't have a lot of time to do that. We will see, usually a little patience with the dealer pays off. I just bought a Jeep from them 3 months ago, so they should be willing to work with me.

Thanks for all the replies

I got blue book on my trade-in. I paid a "fair" price for the rebel - also received Friends/Family. It took a lot of work. I also got 60 months of 0% interest, but I was hoping for 72, to lessen the payment a little, but oh well.

My dealer indicated that there would be next to no incentives on the 2016's when they come out, since they are selling so well.
I believe it was similar for the 1500 when they added diesel. So much to the point people were going in shopping for diesels and they walked out with a HEMI because there was next to no incentive on the diesel and the HEMI had stacks of cash on their hoods...
Yes my dealer also said not to expect a lot of additional incentives. I also get the Affiliate pricing so already getting a good deal but was hoping for 2-3k more off my self when mine arrives. Right now it looks like there is about 1500 off per the nada site, but that could change in a month or two.
Isn't a new Ford Raptor coming out near the end of this year? Maybe the Ram Rebel's price will go down to compete?
next year, and its a safe bet the raptor is going to be about 10k+ more than the rebel.

Has anyone ever heard of "Certificate of Incentive"? I went looking at a Rebel and got pricing with the $2,500 rebate and the $1,000 bonus which seems to available to the general public according to Ram Trucks web site regarding rebates and incentives. I received a mailer as I got home Friday with this "Certificate of Incentive" and took it to the dealer yesterday and they are claiming they gave it to me already but if you look in the fine print it even says this "Certificate of Incentive" is not available to the general public. I called FCA when I got home but the people that deal with the incentives were not there but the person I spoke to said that unless the dealer had the certificate number there then she did not think that the $1,000 was included in the deal yet.... so that means I need to make a call to FCA tomorrow morning. Anyone have any information regarding this "Certificate of Incentive"???

Im not sure exactly what you mean here, but I had a certificate that they sent me for 500 off and it does have a code on it. If you are getting 2500 off then yes that has the extra 1000 included in it as there is only a 1500 discount right now on 2016's. I just picked mine up friday night and this was the only discount available.

my certificate said 500 off plus 1000 of any 2015 charger in stock.
