Why does my Rebel have a 120 mph speedometer, yet is governed at 106 mph? Has anyone figured an easy work around? Which chips/programers can help with this issue?

To up the speed limit on the truck you need a hand held/programmer/custom tune.
To use a custom tune you need to unlock the PCM or buy an unlocked one.

Cost of investment about $800....seems like a lot if all you want to do is up the top speed which is speed limited based on the ratings on the tires usually.

I haven't looked for that option, but I don't remember seeing the ability to raise the limit... there is also no transmission tuning capabilities yet...

I am painfully aware none of the handhelds offer any tuning for torque management yet.
I currently have my speed limiter set at 125 thanks to my diablo
