Cold weather Air suspension leak

2016 ram rebel owner.
Live in Ohio with the temperature of 40 degrees in evening when i park and 15 degrees in the morning when i leave. When I start driving I hear a vibrating sound which is my air leaking out of my air suspension. The rear end stays up but my front end is completely bottomed out to loading mode.

I seen a YouTube video that shows you to remove a fuse to keep it in which ever suspension mode it is in when you remove fuse.

1. My question is will this work for the cold air to keep it in normal mode?
2. Is it the adjusting that stalls the compressor in cold weather?
3. And will this cause any issues if i keep it in a certain mode?

Any other quick fixes would be appreciated as well.

Thanks

Well, as predicted, every year when the temps drop, owners between 2016 and 2018 are going to develop symptoms of cold weather deterioration of the air ride system.

There is no quick, or permanent fix. It is a defect of the design. If you pull the fuse, probably 2-3 days later, it will fail again. The problem with pulling the fuse is that the system, once you replace the fuse, will try to raise the truck and reset, but this will cause added stress to the compressor and you will get multiple codes and warnings on the EVIC/dash and replacing the compressor when this happens is most dealerships goto fix. But that will only last so long.

Some folks are trying the farmer heated battery blanket for the compressor... have fun plugging in another plug all winter, when it's only a temporary bandaid because your truck will eventually be exposed to the cold where power isn't available. Besides, who wants a farmer fix on their $60k awesome Ram?

Ripping the air ride out and swapping in coils/struts or trading your Rebel are the only true fixes.

Best of luck to you.

Hi folks, I've just experienced the first "air ride" problem on my 76,000k, 2017 Ram 1500.
We thought air ride was a very nice feature, and I honestly hope FCA seeks out their designers and kicks their butts over such a stupid but obvious failure-prone system.
We do happen to have a very good local mechanic who I trust implicitly and I think I'm going to go straight to the removal the cause,,not dick around with any dealer over the symptoms. I live in Ottawa Ontario and yeah, it gets plenty cold. FCA should know better , air collects moisture, moisture freezes at 0C or 32F so what were they thinking??
